Guild War Professions

Guild War professions have just become more advanced than ever. The Guild War professions from the previous Guild War campaign have increased dramatically. The original Guild War Professions now have 25 new skills added to them plus over a half a dozen new sets of armor. Read on for examples of new changes in the skills of the 6 original Guild War Professions.

The Elementalist has acquired new maneuverability and strengths. For example, she possesses the power of producing a spell called Arc Lightening. This mixed with water magic can damage up to two foes at once at times. Another skill that the Elementalist has acquired is the Churning Earth. This is a method by which the Elementalist is able to knock down enemies who have speed-enhancing skills. She also contains an elite skill called Ride the Lightening that damages the target that the Elementalist is aiming at, and it also teleports the Elementalist right to this target.

The Guild War profession the Mesmer has also attained new skills. For example he possesses the Overload skill, which is a spell which disrupts and damages an enemy target if that enemy is attempting to hex him. He also has the skill that is known as the Illusion of Pain. This spell causes massive health deterioration to his enemies, who in the end are also healed by the Mesmer. The Signet of Disruption is another spell of the Mesmer, which works in a similar fashion as the Overload skill, but only interrupts a spell or other skill, and not damaging it.

The Monk has reached new skill levels as well. His role is mainly one of protection, healing, and removing of spells. The removal of spells skill that the Monk possesses is called the Empathic Removal, and the healing spell (also called a smiting spell) that the Monk possesses is called the Word of Censure. He also has the Gift of Health, which replenishes the health of characters that he uses this spell upon.

The Guild War professions of Necromancer, the Ranger, and the Warrior, all have acquired new spells as well. The Necromancer possesses a new skill called Gaze of Contempt, which removes all of his target's enhancements if the Necromancer still has at least half his health left. He also has attained the Jaundiced Gaze which allows him to either sacrifice his own health or steal the health of another player, depending upon who has the greater health. The Necromancer also possesses the elite sill called the Flesh Goleim, a corpse animation/reanimation skill. This is different than the skills of the Ranger or the Warrior.

The Ranger is considered everybody's favorite, and is also considered a tree-hugger, and the Warrior is fiercer than ever. The Ranger has recently acquired new archery skills, as well as new pets, traps, and nature rituals. He has a Heal as One skill which heals both him and his pet. He also has a skill names Brambles which causes excess bleeding to an opponent who has been knocked down. The Ranger also has developed the skill called Brod Head Arrow which is an arrow that dazes its target. The Warrior is also more powerful as well.

The Warrior, Who is a Guild War Master possesses the Sun and Moon Slash skill which is a completely unblock able sword blow, and the protector's stance, which helps block the Warrior and allies from enemy forces. The Warrior also has the Coward skill which scares off a fleeing enemy. She possesses many new skills to protect her own and to defeat her enemies.
