DAOC Platinum: Newsletter Debuts
The old dog learned a new trick today when Dark Age of Camelot took a page from the book of Warhammer Online and released the first issue of their newsletter. This mailing profiles various things going on in the game to those who subscribe. While I am sure someone will post the full thing online somewhere, here are some highlights.

What's a Camelot Campaign, you say? Tsk, tsk, someone hasn't been reading the Herald. If you don't know what the current Camelot Campaign is about, we have one word for you: Dragons! The dragons are acting strangely, flying over the small villages of Mag Mell, Cotswold, and Mularn and terrorizing all who live there. Why are their minions building nests in the dragon lairs? What connection do they have with the underground world of the Labyrinth? The dragon scholars are investigating these mysteries, and need your help. Visit Pondar Cully in the Academy Library in Camelot, Harris McCullogh in the courtyard of Tir na Nog Castle, and Lailen in the Temple of the Jotuns in Jordheim to start your journey. Follow along with the story as you complete quests and discover the strange happenings of the dragons in this ongoing campaign.

Camelot Campaign means change. Every two weeks new challenges occur and older stories may come to a close. Adventurers who keep up with events will have the best insight into the story, but it's possible to jump in at any time and find something to do. Things can change in an instant, and at the end of a chapter everything that came before may well be turned on its ear. The dragons are on the move, can you keep up?
